New Fellows and a new tradition! The USC Aiken Teaching Fellows welcomed 11 Freshmen by hosting the inaugural Teaching Fellows Induction Ceremony. Each incoming Fellow was given a memento – a tangible symbol of significance or wisdom – by the sophomore, junior and senior Fellows. Each Fellow presented their memento to the Freshmen cohort and stated the significance behind it. The Freshmen Fellows left with 26 mementos, each a permanent reminder of what it means to be an teacher-leader and a Teaching Fellow at USC Aiken. It was a moving, heartfelt and truly inspirational experience for all our Fellows.
