Education: Michael holds an Associate of Fine Arts from Anderson College, a Bachelor of Arts - Music Education from Central Wesleyan College, a Master of Education- Elementary Education from Clemson University, and a Doctor of Education - Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
Experience: Michael served as a music teacher at Riverside Middle School and Pendleton Jr. High in Anderson County School District 4 for three years. He was a teacher and coach at Liberty Middle School in Pickens County for thirteen years. Michael then began serving in administration, first as Assistant Principal of Crosswell Elementary for four years and then as Principal of Dacusville Elementary for eleven years. Michael has been a member of the Online Faculty at the University of Phoenix and an Adjunct Faculty member at Southern Wesleyan University and Anderson University. CERRA: Michael serves CERRA as the Teaching Fellows Program Facilitator. In this role, he supports Jenna Hallman, Executive Director of CERRA, and the campus directors for the eleven member institutions. He works with high school guidance counselors to support recruitment for the Teaching Fellows program. |
