Jennifer Ainsworth
2015 South Carolina Teacher of the Year
Jennifer Ainsworth grew up in the small town of McColl, SC which is in Marlboro County. She graduated from Presbyterian College in 1994 with a BS in Special Education. Jennifer is the mild/moderate special needs teacher at Socastee High School in Myrtle Beach. She is National Board certified and just completed her 8th year in the classroom.
Jennifer is the coordinator for the Horry County Special Olympic Spring Games. Jennifer is married to her high school sweetheart, William, and they have 2 sons, Will and Cole. Jennifer is an avid baseball mom.
