By: Dr. Jenna Hallman Dr. Lauren Gehr, 2005 Teaching Fellows cohort member at UofSC Columbia, has been busy writing articles on digital assessments, literacy, and student engagement for Edutopia while also teaching English in Lexington/Richland School District 5. Her latest post titled, "How Using Authentic Digital Assessments Can Benefit Students," describes how she included student choice in her revised assessments while teaching virtually, hybrid, and face-to-face. According to Lauren, "Virtual assessments are the most effective and efficient methods for assessing student learning today and tomorrow." We love seeing graduates of the Teaching Fellows Program succeeding and supporting other educators. Way to go, Dr. Gehr! |
