The new semester has started and the College of Charleston Teaching Fellows are already as busy as ever! Two sophomores, Tamara Berry and Hannah Pullias, started a semester-long study abroad program in Argentina! We are going to miss them but are excited to hear all the insights they bring back to us next semester!
One of our Freshmen Fellows, Tanner Crunelle, hosted a screening of the Netflix documentary 13th in conjunction with the African American Studies department during the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. It was such a great event we decided to screen the film during one of our Professional Development meetings!
The Teaching Fellows recently hosted 20 aspiring Teaching Fellows candidates from all across the area at our North Campus for a mock interview. It went great and we were able to hopefully meet some of our future Fellows! Good job to our Recruitment committee chairperson, Rodrick Bellamy.
