The College of Charleston recently welcomed the incoming cohort of Teaching Fellows with a few special events. The freshmen met their sophomore mentors at an ice cream social. Dr. Hunter-Doniger reported that this was a wonderful event, and the freshmen are looking forward to meeting their "extended Teaching Fellows families." The extended families include the current juniors who served as mentors to the current sophomores when they were freshmen, etc. The freshmen cohort also participated in a Gullah tour and attended a Riverdogs baseball game. Several Teaching Fellows were even featured on the jumbotron!
