On Sunday, March 24th, the USC Aiken Teaching Fellows welcomed Mr. Patrick Kelly from the Palmetto State Teachers Association. Patrick led a dynamic, engaging, and powerful presentation about education advocacy and how our Fellows could support their profession and their fellow educators across South Carolina. We are hoping to invite Patrick back this summer as our Fellows launch a new initiative: Leadership and Advocacy in Education. This will be a day-long series of workshops fine-tuning how our Fellows can advance educational issues through leadership. Stay tuned!
