Elloree Middle School's ProTeam class is led by Dr. Shamika Smalls-Muir. Each week, Dr. Smalls-Muir escorts her students to elementary school classes to interact with PreK-1st grade classes. ProTeamers read and assist with one-on-one or small group instruction. These visits provide ProTeam students with the opportunity to apply learning from the ProTeam curriculum including: the development of communication skills, leadership, and team-building. Elloree Middle School principal, Dr. Derrick James, fully supports the class and Dr. Smalls-Muir's leadership.
