Are you waiting on scores? If so, have you agreed to share your information with a third party? Please do so.
It is that time of the year. Scores will be released on Saturday, December 9, 2023 for any candidates who submitted any components for initial certification and NBCTs who completed the Maintenance of Certification (MOC). Candidates will receive their scores when they sign into their accounts on National Board's website. The list of those who successfully achieved or maintained certification will not be made available with the state immediately; candidates are entitled to a private release. Due to the timing of the public release and the upcoming holidays, NBCTs should not expect to have their newly attained certification or successful MOC processed at the state or district level until January.
Those who were successful in achieving or maintaining their National Board Certification do not need to contact anyone at the state or submit a change of status with their certificate. This will be processed for them. If they did not agree to share their information with a third party, their information will be updated after those who did allow National Board to share their names as that information is received.
It is strongly recommended that any NBCT or candidate waiting on scores check their accounts. Under My Profile, be sure that the permission to share with a third party is checked. This is the only way NBPTS can share your information with the state.

Some candidates may need support, from accessing their log-in information, to questions about scoring decisions. Please understand that this will likely be a busy time for them with many communications coming into their various channels.
