Have you heard? National Board has made a policy change about when candidates can begin the National Board Certification process. In the past, teachers had to wait to apply to begin the process until they had successfully completed three years of teaching. This is no longer true. Teachers may register and begin the process before completing three full years. However, certification will not be issued until the teacher has completed three years of teaching and met all of the other requirements.
