February 28th is the last day to:
- register for the initial or renewal process
- pay the fees associated with the components you have selected (initial candidates only)
- pay for the renewal process (NBCTs only)
- change certificate areas or component selection
- withdraw from candidacy
- pay any outstanding fees

See the renewal calendar below. Begin with the date that you achieved National Board Certification or Certification Renewal. Then find the dates that indicate your renewal window. Beginning in 2020-21, NBCTs will complete Maintenance of Certification (MOC) rather than renewal. More information about MOC will be released soon.
