BY JENNA HALLMAN The Winthrop University Teaching Fellows recently partnered with the campus Call Me Mister program to hold a welcome retreat. The students built camaraderie while playing games such as "Get to Know You Uno" and charades, participating in a photo scavenger hunt, and bowling at the local alleys.
BY JENNA HALLMAN The Campus Directors from all of the Teaching Fellows Institutions and select members of the CERRA staff recently participated in a two-day training on Stephen Covey's, "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People." Mr. Connley Skeen provided instruction on the 7 habits and engaged the group in activities designed to encourage personal reflection and group cohesiveness. The Campus Directors and CERRA plan to use the 7 habits as the foundation of the new leadership development program for Teaching Fellows.
