Here's a look at our top pictures from the week.

Top Left: Winthrop University's Teaching Fellows Leadership Team gathered this week to make plans for the year. CERRA's Director of Teaching Fellows, Dr. Michelle Sweatman, was excited for the opportunity to pop in during their meeting while she was in the office.

Bottom Left: In partnership with the SCDE, CERRA led professional development for Mentor and Induction Coordinators from around the state today at Newberry College. Days like today allow coordinators to collaborate and work together to strengthen the programs in their districts.

Top Middle: USC Upstate's College Partner, Dr. Allison Thompson, and former Teacher Cadet and current Teaching Fellow Shakari Jones attended the Greenville County School District's iTeach Conference at Roper Mountain Science Center on Thursday, September 3. They met students in the Future Teacher Academy, shared opportunities on their campus, and promoted Teaching Fellows.

Top Right: Strom Thurmond High School's Educational Psychology instructor, Amy Hardy, and her cadets toured Daufuskie Island after reading Pat Conroy's memoir, The Water Is Wide. Pat Conroy, who taught at the island's school in 1969, wrote about his experiences teaching children of extreme poverty who were grossly neglected by the educational system. While reading the book, the cadets became very interested in the disparity in educational opportunities among the various counties across the state.

They met students in the Future Teacher Academy, shared opportunities on their campus, and promoted Teaching Fellows.
