Education: Todd is a graduate of Conway High School where he was a Teacher Cadet. He received a B.A. in Journalism from The University of South Carolina and a M.Ed in Secondary Education from Coastal Carolina University.
Experience: Before coming to CERRA, Todd spent over 15 years teaching in Horry County. He began his teaching career in special education at Lakewood Elementary School. In 1997, he joined the faculty at the newly-constructed Carolina Forest High School where he taught broadcast journalism and Teacher Cadets. In 2006, Scholl was elected to serve on the CERRA Advisory Board. In 2008, Scholl was named Carolina Forest High School Teacher of the Year and a Teacher of the Year Finalist for Horry County Schools. He also assisted in the revision of the Teacher Cadet curriculum.
CERRA: Todd joined CERRA as a Teacher-In-Residence in January of 2011. He was asked to serve as a liaison between CERRA and South Carolina's Palmetto Priority Schools. In the summer of 2011, Scholl became CERRA's Coordinator of Communications and Technology. In November of 2017, Scholl was named Coordinator of Communications and Program Development. In that role, he manages CERRA's websites and social media, creates various media to promote CERRA's programs and services, and works as a creative consultant on various projects.
