Bio Education: Rachel received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education (1988) from South Carolina State University and a Master of Education degree (2001) from Charleston Southern University. Experience: Rachel taught in Orangeburg School District Five for thirteen years, teaching 2nd and 3rd grade, and served as a teacher evaluator. For the past nineteen years she has been in Calhoun County School District serving as a classroom teacher, Evaluation Coordinator, and Literacy Coach. CERRA: Rachel became involved with CERRA when she served on CAB many years ago. She is now a Pre-Collegiate Program Facilitator for Region 2, the Savannah River Region. |
