Education: A native of Charleston, SC, Marcella graduated from Burke High School in 1988. Marcella earned a B.A. in English Education from Benedict College in 1992, a M.Ed. in Education and Interdisciplinary Studies from Cambridge College-Boston in 1998, an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership-School Administration, from Cambridge College-Augusta in 2009, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership-Curriculum and Instruction, from the American College of Education in 2018. Experience: Marcella has been in education for 29 years now, having served 15 of those teaching in both Richland County School District One and School District Five of Lexington and Richland Counties as an English educator/instructor, an ADEPT evaluator, curriculum consultant, certified mentor, and cooperating teacher for student teachers from local colleges/universities. CERRA: Marcella is a product of CERRA’s programs. She is a former Teacher Cadet and TC instructor. She earned National Board Certification in 2006, and in 2007, joined the CERRA staff as a Teacher in Residence. She currently serves as the Program Director for ProTeam, Teacher Cadet, and College Partners.
