What is TakeOne!®

Ready to try Take One!®

Take One!® is a unique offering from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards™ that provides a standards-based approach for improving teaching practice and links student learning to effective instruction. Teachers prepare and submit one pre-selected video portfolio entry from any of the current certificate areas of National Board Certification. A teacher can later transfer the score if he or she pursues National Board candidacy.

CERRA statewide Take One!® Cohort

CERRA is proud to once again support a state-wide cohort of Take One!® teachers. All educators regardless of their years of experience are eligible to join the cohort. Cohort members have the opportunity to attend free mentoring and support webinars aimed at assisting them with the completion of their pre-selected entry. One face-to-face Saturday meeting will also be held. Scholarship funds may be available to cover the cost of the process.
