CERRA completed an extensive transition to an online application system for the Teaching Fellows Program in Fall 2007. There was a record number of applicants in 2007 with more than 900 high school seniors in South Carolina submitting applications for the most prestigious teaching program in the state. Of the 900 applicants, CERRA, using appropriations from the General Assembly, awarded 175 scholarship offers following a rigorous application and interview process conducted by educators in five regions of the state.
