The district, serving approximately 3,200 students from rural communities, is located in eastern Orangeburg County and midway between Columbia, the state capital, and historic Charleston. The district is comprised of one combined high school and state-of-the-art technology center, one middle school, one magnet school, one elementary/middle school, and three elementary schools; all schools are SACS accredited. Applicants will have the opportunity to meet and interview with school administrators. Interview appointments will be limited to the following certification areas: Speech, Spanish, Music (Choral), Media Specialist, Science, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, English (Secondary/Middle), Special Education (All Areas), Mathematics (Secondary/Middle), and Social Studies (Secondary/Middle). Select Orangeburg Consolidated School District Three to view. New graduates must include copies of PRAXIS II scores or state content tests scores. Certified applicants may register on-line at www.obg3.k12.sc.us. The deadline for registration is February 22, 2010. Confirmation of registration and interview times will be assigned via e-mail. Walk-in candidates with resumes and teacher certification will be interviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Contracts will be offered on-site.
